The Independent Manchester Beer Convention (Indy Man Beer Con/IMBC) was a world-class event, shining a spotlight on the top-tier breweries from our beloved UK and those beyond our shores. Taking place in Grade II listed Victoria Baths, I was part of the team responsible for delivering the festival in 2022 & 2023 – as well as editions of sister festival Summer Beer Thing in 2021, 2022, & 2023.

Key Responsibilities
- Crafted and implemented ticket sales strategies, leading to over £500k in sales through effective launch events.
- Developed and distributed all customer-facing communications, including pre-sale beer tokens, generating £50k in upfront revenue and £10k in customer savings.
- Managed all design work with third-party illustrators and graphic designers, ensuring visual consistency.
- Secured media coverage through traditional outlets and social media influencers, enhancing festival visibility.
- Supervised freelance social media executives to maintain a strong online presence.
- Collaborated with sponsors, venues, and breweries to optimise marketing efforts and stakeholder engagement.
- Conducted post-festival surveys to refine customer experience, leading to continuous improvement year over year.
- Directed OOH and digital marketing campaigns, reaching an estimated 750,000 people in Greater Manchester.
